It has been brought to my attention that yesterday’s
post contained a number of errors. The person who
is visiting the Roman pontiff is not, in fact, the Druid Archpriest Rowan Atkinson, but the famous Anglican clergyman, Archbishop of Canterbury, and leader of the worldwide Anglican communion, The Right Reverend Rowan Williams, pictured here.
The man pictured in yesterday’s post is actually an English comedian and star of numerous very humorous films like Mr. Bean, Johnny English and Rat Race. I didn’t recognize him because he had grown a beard and was wearing another one of his silly comedian disguises.
My apologies for any confusion caused. Let us all hope and pray that when Mr Williams, visits Rome he may decide to become a monk, as he has told us many times, he once wanted to be.
Dwight, I’m confused. But that’s nothing new. I am posting a link to UKOK’s blog entry on Rowen Williams. Is he the same guy? http://innominepatrisetfiliietspiritussancti.blogspot.com/2006/11/rowan-williams-on-female-ordination.htmlThanks,Esther
Esther, I’m just having fun and being a bit satirical. Rowan Williams is the Abp of Canterbury, and Rowan Atkinson is an English comedian. I swapped their photos and stuff just for fun. Have a good day!
LOL! That was my first impression when I saw Mr. Bean but I was soooooo confused 🙂 Thanks Dwight!
How can you tell the difference (theologically)? No offense to our Druid friends.
Druids actually believe something…
