Brothers and sisters:
You have approached Mount Zion
and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem,
and countless angels in festal gathering,
and the assembly of the firstborn enrolled in heaven,
and God the judge of all,
and the spirits of the just made perfect,
and Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant,
and the sprinkled blood that speaks more eloquently than that of Abel.

Hebrews 12
How beautiful is the Body of Christ…Thank you, Father!Jenny
Fantastic, Father! Excellent stuff.James.PS. Looks like Pope John XXIII. Is it? I think I see the Pontifical Noble Guard and even the Pontifical gendarmes. Not to mention the Canons of St Peter’s. Great stuff.
Lovely, Father. I do enjoy reading your blog everyday. If you have a moment, would you pop over to mine? I’m a new blogger and would love your opinion. Thanks so much!
Wow. Thanks for that, Father!I recently converted to Catholicism from an evangelical church, and I’m putting that passage from Hebrews on my looooong list of Bible passages that match Catholic beliefs better than Protestant. It resonates with the Mass perfectly. All that stuff about the firstborn in heaven and the angels and the spirits of the just– too much like praying to saints for Protestant tastes. 🙂
