Have you seen the commercial they have done? It is really outstanding and quite professional. One of the people behind it was at the Catholic New Media Celebration last week and they explained how they got it done.
I saw the commercial at the Boston Catholic Men’s annual conference. That’s what turned me on to the site. A major annual 1 day retreat, incidentally, is a great way to find out what’s going on in the catholic world. All dioceses should have one. I’d say they started up in Boston out of various lay catholic men’s groups in response to the abuse crisis. It’s been an assett, along with Cardinal Sean, in putting the pieces back together. Perhaps one uniting the both the Carolinas in Charlotte or Raleigh might draw sufficient momentum to make it work in Fr. L’s neck of the woods.

The bottom of the page has three commercials you can watch online. They are all good but the first one is outstanding. It reminds me of the old Mormon commercials that used to air all the time when I was a kid — not so much that it was like them, but that it was so nicely done and made the church look so GREAT. I was surprised at how many arguments for the church the makers fit in that one commercial! What a great job.
