I’m not really that fond of the song Make Me a Channel of Your Peace. It was originally written as a folk song, and when it is sung as a hymn it doesn’t work. The rhythms are irregular and people swoop up and down…not good.

However, take a moment to listen to this fantastic rendering by a young Italian Franciscan tenor. He tinkers with the timing of the words and turns it into a first rate number. In the midst of the hassle and fuss of the day take time to listen to the whole thing. He really makes it work.
