Read here about the death threats a British ex-Muslim girl received from her family. The article outlines how capital punishment for conversion from Islam is an integral part of the Islamic religion. In The Independent Dominic Lawson comments on the same issue, saying part of the reason for the rise of Islamic fundamentalism in Britain is the collapse of Christianity. The craziest part of the Islamic horror in Britain is that the politically correct left–in their frenzy to be inclusive of Muslims have actually embraced men who would turn around and cut their throats if they had half a chance.

“The craziest part of the Islamic horror in Britain is that the politically correct left–in their frenzy to be inclusive of Muslims have actually embraced men who would turn around and cut their throats if they had half a chance”In a hundred years, they still are what they have always been… Lenin’s “Useful Idiots.”However, seeing that Lenin only exists on college campuses, nature abhores a vacuum, so now they are Mohammed’s “Useful Idiots.”
“They put their loyalty to Islam above any love for me,” Hannah said. Though, this is true also of Christianity: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, will all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” However, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (cf Mark 12:30-31).Fr. Longenecker is the priest here, but I imagine because of the second part of this great commandment the Christian apostate enjoys their free will. Something compromised in the threats and honor killing of Islam. Catholic theology–I cannot speak on the broad spectrum found in the reformed churches–values charity at its apex; in contrast, Islam celebrates obedience. I say obedience, for lack of a better word to qualify the pitchforks and fire sticks some Islam adherents take on their apostates. In the second article, Bishop Nazir-Ali claimed millions of Christians unwilling to live their faith as the catalyst for fundamentalist Islam. In other words, for the lack of a better example, Islam turns to violence. This is awesome. Christians living their faith placate the teetotalers of Islam; we are the greater of the two faiths. It reminds me of the Rule of St. Francis, “Be converted before you convert,” and I believe this is how we fight the “War on Terrorism”: living your Christian faith without taking up arms. Long live Christ the King!
He is right that this scourge is a reply to the rejection of Christ. I think there is very little difference between an Islamic state and a liberal left state. They are bed fellows. Both believe in the individuals right to follow his own judgement. The only difference is that Islam has had 1400 hundred years of dealing with the anarchy that flows from its own belief system. They have devised the sharia to try to contain the inevitable poison. The liberal left are mere children of the same folly, they too will require their own police state in time. Call it the will of allah, or the will of the people or the will of what ever you like it is all the same. When you deny the divinity of Jesus Christ and reject original sin, you become your own god.

Now we learn what the 3 Crusades were all about.
I don’t know when British liberals will wake up and smell the coffee. Do you remember the attempt, some years ago, by Birmingham City Council to rename Christmas? “Winterfest”, or somesuch name? At the time, there was much criticism, and ‘Daily Mail’ readers put it down to “loony lefties”. However, back then, it was not uncommon to see mild religious images in city Christmas lights: a star, or an angel. Now, it is highly unlikely that any such image is used, so as to avoid offence. In an article in this week’s ‘Catholic Herald’, there are numerous quotations from non-Christian leaders who claim not to want such de-Christianisation. So, who is really promoting this trend, and why? On another note, I’m a resident of IoW and read that you once held the living to a parish on the Island. May I ask, which one?I don’t know when you were last here, but you’ll be pleased to know that Quarr and S Cecilia’s are still great power-houses, although, a few more vocations at Quarr would be good!God bless
i was the vicar of Brading with Yaverland, and a very happy six years it was too. We were received into the Catholic Church at Quarr.
Thank you, Father.I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve ‘church-crawled’ neither church, even though Brading appears to be open most days. Most people seem to know of Godshill, with its wall painting, but for me (of all the churches I’ve visited so far) Whitwell, is my ultimate fave!I’m a resident of Shanklin and, should you ever find yourself this side of the Solent, you’ll be a welcome guest at my hotel.
Religion of Peace?that would be piece, not peace; many pieces; we’ll take a piece of this place, a piece of that place…
