My pal Joseph Pearce says the Annual Chesterton Conference organized by Dale Ahlquist is the one conference he would get to each year if he couldn’t go anywhere else.
Over 500 Chestertonians will be gathering in Minnesota for three jolly days in June. Apparently there is plenty of robust hilarity, serious thought, serious food and serious fun. William Oddie is coming over from England. I’ll be speaking on Friday evening on the Adventure of Orthodoxy. Joseph is speaking as well.
Y’all come! Here is a link.
PS: Other bloggers–do Dale Ahlquist a favor–talk up this conference, and post a link. Dale is a terrific guy who supports his wife and growing family purely on the promotion of G.K. Chesterton.
Chesterton in that logo looks rather like Teddy Roosevelt!
I would love to go but school is not out until June 13 and the Sunday is Father’s Day. I wish they (and others) would find a way to schedule these great conferences when more (especially teachers) could go.
Love that poster!
