This article from CNA combines Hilary Clinton’s visit to Guadalupe, where she had a special viewing of the miraculous image with news that she is to receive Planned Parenthood’s highest award–the Margaret Sanger award.
The irony of all this is thick enough to cut with a knife. OL of Guadalupe (as Hilary probably didn’t know) is pictured pregnant and is she is therefore not only the patroness of the Americas, but patroness of the pro life movement. Hilary Clinton says to the Mexicans after her visit to the Basilica in Guadalupe, “You have a marvelous virgin!” Then goes on to receive the Margaret Sanger award for, among other things, supporting federal funding of abortion in Mexico.

So the Pope rehabilitates a person he didn’t know was a holocaust denier, and later apologizes while Hilary Clinton is proud to receive the Margaret Sanger award which magnifies and honors a known eugenicist, racist, supporter of the KKK and nobody blinks.
She also asked “who painted it?!!” The Cathedral Rector replied: “God.”

I think it’s reasonable to hope that her encounter with the miraculous image of Our Lady may be the beginning of her conversion. The question, “Who painted it?”, may have been asked from politeness, or it may have been asked because she was genuinely moved by it. Msgr. Monroy’s reply might be hard for her to forget…hopefully she will ask herself what could cause a person to believe with such conviction that the image was made by God and be inspired to find out more about the history of Our Lady of Guadalupe. There are so many who have been led home to the Church by Our Lady…with God, all things are possible.

Let’s not be too hard on someone who had never heard the story of the Virgin of Guadalupe. I’d never heard it before I came into the Church either.
Surely someone briefed her about OLG or, failing that why didn’t she brief herself?

The media by and large forms public opinion. Searching for truth and analysing an issue logically is not easy and we are grateful to the media for doing the hard work for us and presenting us with their opinion of how we should feel about a situation. We uncritically take the MSM’s ideas on board as our own to repeat to our friends, on discussion boards and in the comments section of articles.
Victoria is correct. The MSM is totally in bed with the immoral leftists, and we will never get any sort of balance reporting from the. As far as the media is concerned, any American with decent moral and ethical values are evil while those on the immoral and unethical left can do no wrong.As far as Hillary ever having a real epiphany is little more than a pipe dream, but we can pray.
It boggles the mind that the Secretary of State should not have been briefed on the image, but you must remember that Bill Clinton made the remark that the use of embryonic stem cells in research would be a far more serious moral issue if they had been fertilized, and that when he was president, both Mr and Mrs received Holy Communion at a church in Africa. Bill Clinton’s remark about stem cells precludes any tendency to confine Clintonian ignorance to Catholic matters only. Any information on the image at all, even the tiniest bit, would have made “who painted it?” not just an offensive remark, but an outrageously dumb one.And most devout members of Planned Parenthood don’t even know that its founder was a Hitler-adoring racist slut, whose sexual activities would make “promiscuous” too polite a term. The underlying conviction behind the Gospel of Contraception is that human beings are unable to control their sexual urges; hence, “spontaneity” is the primary principle in their theology. This comes from Maggie–who ought to know.
