This week’s story in Stories of the Unexpected is the tale of a missionary in the Burmese jungle. The story was told to my sister when she was doing some training in linguistics. The missionary was captured by soldiers of the Burmese totalitarian government and thrown into a well and left for dead. What happened next was most mysterious.
