The comments are always so interesting in the English newspapers…with any Catholic news.One commenter’s description of Puritanism makes it sound like Islam. Might as well change “Abba” to “Allah”.As if the church hadn’t defeated the iconoclast heresy over a millennium ago!
Father, I hadn’t heard about this person with whom our beloved Cardinal Newman lived. Why is that? Is it “common knowledge” that I missed? I haven’t read any biography of him, and surely there must be at least one. Is this covered anywhere?
