Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body. “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”
This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.
Well, Father, I guess I’m going to have to be the one to ask: Any comments on the election? Totally secular question, I know, and nothing to do with the Bride of Christ, except perhaps the obvious: Holy Mother Church is hurting…how do we move on when we are so very divided in our core beliefs? Roughly 25% of adult Americans are Catholic; 54% of those Catholics voted for the candidate with the most horrific pro-abortion, pro-infanticide record in existence. I know you were out of town for the “event”, but am hoping for a little Fr. Dwight wisdom here from you and your Bride…
Maybe they were hoping he would change his mind. What’s that quote about our martyrs’ blood?
Jenny,One poll had it this way:45 percent of Catholics who regularly go to Sunday Mass voted for Obama.61 percent of Catholics who do not regularly go to Sunday Mass voted for Obama.Richard

Is it possible that God will use the new Administration to punish this nation?
