Three articles worth reading are loaded up today into the Archived Articles section of the blog. This section is open to Donor Subscribers. Donor-Subscribers support the blog, and now as I begin more podcasting in April, being a Donor-Subscriber will also help me produce my twenty part history of the Catholic Church called Triumphs and Tragedies.

There are other benefits of being a Donor Subscriber which I’ll spend more time on later. In April I’ll be having my twice yearly drive for Donor Subscribers, but for now, here are the latest Archived Articles:

Papal Portrayals on Screen – This post looks at how various popes have been portrayed in movies. There are lots of embedded links to clips of famous actors portraying pope. One of my favorites is Alec Guiness playing Pope Innocent III in Brother Sun, Sister Moon.

The Little Way Through Middle Earth – Have you ever thought of Frodo Baggins and St Therese in the same way? This long article shows how the little people of Lord of the Rings incarnate the little way of St Therese of Lisieux.

How England Became Protestant – Many people think it was just a matter of Henry VIII wanting to marry Anne Boleyn, but it was much more complicated than that. This post explains how it happened and why.
