Now that we’ve finished the history series Triumphs and Tragedies,  I thought since it had such a good reception that I’d continue with a weekly church history podcast. What better way than to go to a real historian and a genuine writer–Hilaire Belloc.

Each week I’ll be reading one chapter of his classic book Characters of the Reformation. It will be abridged and I’ll be interrupting the flow to add some explanatory details, some observations and comments. I hope you enjoy it.

The podcasts will be available free of charge at BreadBox Media and the other usual podcasting outlets, however they will have sponsorship messages attached.

If you want to listen to the podcasts without ads they are also available here on the blog in the podcast section, but this section is reserved to Donor Subscribers. Remember there is a new level of Donor Subscriber opportunity now. For $4.95 a month Podcast Donor Subscribers have access to all archived podcasts like Triumphs and Tragedies and some special reserved channels like Stories of the Unexpected.

Donor Subscribers go here for the ad free introduction of Hilaire Belloc’s Characters of the Reformation.

REMEMBER: Until November 15 I am running my annual Donor Subscriber membership drive. If you appreciate this blog-website and like having most of the content available not only free of charge, but free of all advertising please consider supporting my work by being a Donor Subscriber.

As part of my annual upgrade I have added a new level of Donor Subscriber. Full Donor Subscribers contribute $8.95 a month and enjoy a range of benefits. There’s more! All new subscribers during the membership drive can request a free book.
