Today is the second day of my Donor-Subscriber drive.
Can you help? I rely on my Donor Subscribers to help keep the main part of the blog free for all readers. However, it is not free to produce. A good looking blog like this costs money to design, maintain and host.
Donor Subscribers help to share my mission of reaching thousands every day with the fullness of the Christian faith in the Catholic Church. If you can afford to be a Donor Subscriber you help to pay for all those who genuinely can’t afford it.
These folks write to me–usually when I am just about ready to give up blogging. They say how the blog helps them keep the faith because there is no faithful Catholic teaching near them. I meet others at my speaking engagements who come up to shake my hand or give me a hug and thank me because my blog helped them in their journey into the Catholic Church.
Donor Subscribers also help to keep the blog free from all ads. No ads for men’s underwear, the Book of Mormon, movies you don’t want to see or click bait ads about celebrities who have lost their good looks! I don’t need to take advertising if enough Donor Subscribers step up.
Donor Subscribers also help with the new podcasting dimension of the blog. Later this month I’ll be launching my twenty part series on the history of the Catholic Church. I was going to have this reserved for Donor Subscribers, but have decided to get it out there to as many people as possible free of charge. However, like the blog itself, the podcast is not free to produce.
The “Subscribe” page will not only give you instructions on subscribing but will also inform you of the special offers that I send out to Donor Subscribers.
If you can help I would appreciate it. Being a Donor Subscriber means a monthly donation of $8.95. That’s less than thirty cents a day. Please think about helping out in this way. Just go here to learn more and follow the instructions to subscribe.
During this two week drive for new Donor Subscribers all new Donor Subscribers will receive a free copy of Carl Olson’s book Did Jesus Really Rise From the Dead? All you need to do is drop me an email after you’ve subscribed saying you are a new subscriber and asking for the book. Include your postal address and I’ll send it pronto.
If you can’t do that, but would like to make a single donation, please use the yellow “Donate” button on the right sidebar of the homepage of the blog.
Many thanks!
