Pentecost – Mary Mother of the Church

Mary is surrounded by the Apostles and is the conductor for the force of the Divine Love in the world. With the institution of the Feast Mary, Mother of the Church, Pope Francis brings into greater prominence the intimate relationship between the Holy Spirit and the Mother of God.

The homily this week explores that relationship and encourages a deeper love and veneration for Mary, Mother of God and Mother of the Church.

Today at Our Lady of the Rosary we had a special daily Mass in the Upper church to celebrate this new, wonderful feast.
