Today’s posts in the Archived Articles section of the blog provide a good read for Donor Subscribers:

Hobbit Holes and the Holy is an abridged version of one of the chapters of my book The Romance of Religion. In which going down and going up and being little to be large is considered.

Joseph Campbell Goes to the Movies – explores the influence of the author of Hero With a Thousand Faces on modern popular movies. That Campbell was brought up a Catholic and (reliable sources tell me) he was reconciled with the church on his deathbed, make his influence even more interesting.

Redeeming the Time is posted in the Liturgy section and explores the importance to the spiritual life of the different seasons in the liturgical year.

This section of the blog is reserved for Donor-Subscribers. If you are able to support my work in this way it is a big help!

The fees enable me to keep ads off the blog, pay for hosting at a quality site so the response of the blog is rapid. It also helps pay for the design and maintenance costs.

We are all so used to everything on the internet being free, but its not free. Somebody has to pay, and I’m eager to absorb some of the costs to write here, but if you can help by being a Donor-Subscriber please do.

It’s just $8.95 during this introductory month of October.
